BackerKit Smoke Test Surveys are live!

BackerKit has been set up and is ready to begin accepting your shipping information and verifying your pledges. At this point we're sending out 5% of the surveys to each level randomly, please check your emails and keep your eyes open for a BackerKit survey. Once we have checked the incoming surveys we expect to be launching all of the remaining within the next 18-24 hours. 

We'll post another update when they go live with a link to the BackerKit directly in case you can't find your email but at this point since so few have it available I'd rather not confuse people with the link yet. If you don't see an email from BackerKit in your inbox or spam then don't worry, yours probably wasn't sent out yet!

We did it!!!!!

And with a rush there at the end we actually ended up right over the $18k mark, pretty crazy how many backers jump on the train right in the last 3 days!

Thank you all for your support on this project, I'm looking forward to delivering some really high quality stuff and I'm already talking to everybody that will have their hands in the project so that we can get the ball rolling!

Whats next?

Well we're about 2 weeks away from Kickstarter sending any of the funds our way so really we're doing mostly back end stuff at the moment. 

1. I'm building the BackerKit which you'll be able to access in 2 weeks and confirm your orders.

2. I'm getting our delivery/storage areas lined up so that we're ready to begin shipping out of our new building on site.

3. I'm getting official templates for all of the custom files that will be needed for extra things like masks, sanitizers, coins, etc. ordered in a timely manner.

4. I'm FREAKING OUT about how awesome you guys are and making myself not get to far ahead with new stuff! I'll be posting a few straw polls over the next few weeks to get your opinion on which direction we should take our next project but other than that it's full bore on this until it's out of my hands!

BackerKit Information

If you haven't used BackerKit before here's a quick rundown.

First off, BackerKit is a separate company from Kickstarter, they specifically provide a place for me to gather all of the information about my project and my backers into one easy to access place with WAY more and better tools than I'm given here at Kickstarter. I pay a little extra but it takes a ton of the work off my back!

Once the funds are received from Kickstarter (again, about 14 days from close of project give or take weekends) I'll be able to pull all of the final information from Kickstarter over to BackerKit. Within a week of that time you'll receive an email from BackerKit which will contain a link to your survey. Follow the link and the directions, use your Kickstarter email address to log in and you'll be presented with what is basically a more normal looking online store front that will show you how much you've pledged, what you've pledged for and all of the additional options we'll be offering at that time. You can easily make sure you've got what you want OR add anything additional that wasn't collected by Kickstarter at that time. Input your shipping information and you'll be done!

Once the BackerKit has been out for a few weeks I'll be able to see the exact count of items and addresses and I'll be locking this one down fairly quickly compared to some others as the work itself on designing the cards has basically all but been finished. All we'll need to do is make sure the numbers are right and send off orders to the printer! Then there will be some wait time but it will be out of my hands, we'll just be sitting around waiting on updates (you will be waiting for my updates, i'll be waiting for printer updates!)

This should be a simple and quick project, easy to deliver and AWESOME at your table.

More updates will come as we get moving along and answer the stroll polls please when you see them they'll help me tremendously!

It's official, let's get the party started!

What happens from here?

We have another 8 days or so before the project closes which gives us plenty of time to pick up some more backers before we blow out the candle on this projects party cake so we just have to wait that out before we can move on to the fun stuff which is getting the decks printed and everything in your hands! 

What we are doing now though is announcing 2 new AWESOME things for everyone who's participating in this project!

1. Print & Play PDF of Truly Wild Magic: Original

will be free to everyone that's also receiving the Print & Play version of our new Remastered cards! We never actually made a PnP Version of the original deck and it's been requested more than once. We just can't see ourselves doing that while trying to charge another $5 or something ridiculous for it so we decided that if we're going to be retiring the deck we should finish the collection. We also might as well treat it as part of the package! If you want to use the original cards before your real deck comes in you'll be able to :)

2. One and Only Stretch Goal at $12,500!

We have decided that we will include 2 additional cards to every deck we produce (because that maxes out our deck size in the tuck box) if we can cross the $12,500 line before the project ends. I know it doesn't sound like much but we usually reserve those cards for advertisement of other products, in this instance we'd be tossing those out the window in favor of more FLAVOR in your Wild Magic! Either way, I have a feeling we'll crush this one before it's all said and done ;)

Shipping Questions Answered!

Hello backers! We're well on our way to being funded, almost at 80% of our goal with another 2 weeks left in the project so we're looking at being funded sooner rather than later! Thank you for your support!

The question that has come up a few times from people not in the USA have been mostly about shipping so let me just put it here so everyone can see... we're going to be using a UK shipping company for non North American orders to make everything EU friendly! That means if you're in the EU your shipping should be relatively cheap and you won't have to worry about paying taxes and import fees, we'll handle all that for you!

That being said we're still just giving out "estimates" of shipping cost but you can expect about $4-$8 shipping for anything you order on this project if you're in the US, $7-10 for anything ordered in the EU, probably higher prices up to $15 if you're NOT in North America or the EU. 

NOTE! This also does not include shipping for heavier or larger items that will be available through BackerKit. If for instance you wanted to add one of our other products and it ends up being a hard cover full sized book, then you can expect your increase in cost to be proportional to the weight of the package and its destination from the US to your location. You will of course be able to get exact prices during the BackerKit so anything your concerned about will be addressed there.

Thank you again for all of the work you've been putting in helping us spread this project through your social media channels, every single click helps and backers are always my driving force! 24 Hours in and 25% to the goal!

Hello Backers!

Like the title says, we're 1 day down and 25% of the way to the goal, that's GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

(bonus cool points if you read that last part as Professor Farnsworth from Futurama)

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you all for jumping on the bandwagon early and supporting this newest project, we've had some rough patches the last few months and knowing that there are still excited people out there with good things to say and happiness to share makes my heart fill with joy :)

Other than just say thanks and hello I also wanted to open up the floor to you backers! 

Your ideas below!

Please take some time and comment on this post or PM me if you'd prefer and let me know what kind of stretch goals or extra rewards you'd like to see available in this project? We're trying to keep it simple on purpose but that doesn't mean there isn't room for some expansion or improvement in one form or another across this project. If you let me know what you'd like to see or have offered then I promise to mull over your ideas and if possible make them happen. Now's your chance to directly influence a project! Speak up!
